周杰(1968-),男,四川大学数学学院教授,博士生导师,四川大学统计学研究中心常务副主任。

长期从事数学、统计学和信息科学交叉领域国际前沿课题研究,主要包括多源信息融合、信息几何、统计学习、高维统计推断、信号检测、目标识别与跟踪等基础理论和应用开发。在CRC出版社出版信息融合学术专著1部,在IEEE汇刊、SIAM、Automatica等国内外重要期刊发表论文60余篇。主持完成多项国家自然科学基金面上项目和数学天元基金专项,以及多项教育部和四川省科研项目。以骨干研究人员连续参加2项国家973计划课题,为教育部创新团队“不确定性处理与信息理论及技术中的数学问题”和“动态系统的分析与控制”研究骨干,四川省重点实验室“非线性不确定工程系统控制实验室”科研骨干。获四川省科技进步一等奖,四川省教学成果三等奖。为四川省学术和技术带头人,享受国务院政府特殊津贴。

担任中国现场统计研究会理事、中国统计教育学会理事、中国航空学会信息融合专业委员会常务委员、中国研究生数学建模竞赛专家委员会委员、四川省数学会理事、四川省现场统计学会副理事长、四川省工业与应用数学学会常务理事。任《控制理论与应用》和《信息融合学报》编委。参与组织第20届国际信息融合大会。
